…I can’t remember the last time I needed a 3 day weekend this badly. I’m looking forward to spending time with Robby, unpacking our apartment (yep, we’re still in boxes), lounging at Brooklyn Bridge Park, and enjoying a cookout on our rooftop with views of Lady Liberty.
Because I’m in the middle of filming and don’t finish until next week, I’m relying on old tried and true recipes for our cookout that are favorites of mine. I’ll be making my Charred Corn Salad with Basil Vinaigrette, Tangy Maple Baked Beans with Applewood Smoked Bacon, Oven Baked Ribs with BBQ Sauce, and Strawberry Shortcake for Dessert. If I’m really feeling ambitious, I’ll whip up a batch of my favorite Quick Pickles and fry them off to serve with homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dipping Sauce.
Welcome Summer!

I am obsessed with cooking and have recently found your show and think it’s awesome! About to go out the garden and pick some cukes and get my pickling on. Your recipes look so delish and easy and I look forward to making lots of your recipes on my turf! Thanks lady!
This menu lineup sounds delicious! I love your show. It’s so perfect and I’ve learned a ton!
I made your corn salad for Memorial Day too! Everyone always loves it!
