The newest season of Kelsey’s Essentials starts tomorrow, June 25th at 2:30pm ET. A lot of the recipes this season are devoted to summer cooking and there is no better way to kick it off than with a show all about summer desserts. I hope that you’re all able to catch the show or record it. I’m so proud of the improvements we made this season (notice set makeover!) and the recipes are out of this world. I’m doing a blogging series with one of my favorite food blogs over at YumSugar to go along with the season. My first post is up and I’m dishing on my favorite tip, tool, and technique when it comes to summer cooking.
My family made a trip out to NYC to see the filming process and my sister Kylie took this fun behind the scenes video with her iPhone. I love the look of it! Be sure to keep your eyes open for my brother Cole, sister Kylie, and Robby of course.
p.s. Currently blogging from Rome. In our first 24 hours we’ve had copious amounts of pizza, pasta, and gelato. Heaven!

Kelsey! I was so excited to see your BEAUTIFUL new site featured on Oh Joy! today! It looks SO good! I was able to watch some of your new shows at my parent’s house (who have cable) and all of the Faulkners LOVED them! You are a dream! xo
Believe it or not, I started watching you as a young newlywed in Provo… so excited that you have made it so far! Congrats! The new set looks like it will be awesome! Our cable just gave us CookingChannel back, so I am a happy camper!
