…that gets both sweet and savory right. As a matter of fact, at the moment they serve my favorite meal in New York City. A spin-off from the famous Torrisi & Sons, PARM captures everything that I love about a good restaurant. The food is simple, not the least bit fussy, and oh-so-good. Naturally, they are known for the incredible sandwiches that they serve with their famous chicken parm getting all of the limelight. Since their opening on November 7th I have been 5 times and loved almost every single thing that I’ve ordered from the menu. The mouth watering menu includes things like baked ziti, meatballs, pizza knots, giardinia pickles, beets, and the most amazing B&G poppers. The ambiance is fantastic as well with walls decked in the most fabulous wallpaper I’ve ever seen in a restaurant.
In my opinion what they do best is their classic chicken parm sandwich and their homemade ice cream cake. It’s sweet and savory at it’s finest! I cannot recommend PARM enough. Whether you live in the city or you are big apple bound, make sure you give PARM a try.

No plans for dinner in NYC anytime soon… but would LOVE the recipe for homemade ice cream cake!
I stopped into Parm this afternoon for lunch with friends before going to a Broadway matinee. Everyone had a great time and loved the food. I would definitely order the chicken parm, spicy rabe, and brussels sprouts again. I skipped the ice cream cake this time because the cold winter temperatures outside, but I will be back. So glad you shared your discovery here…keep them coming.
